Mike Annett

Dr. Annett is very interested in the study of human resource management and the systems that organizations use to manage and support their workforce, particularly pertaining to matters of equity, diversity and inclusion. His research targets the practical problems that HR professionals face when striving to increase workplace inclusion. This primarily includes matters related to the employment of persons with disabilities and long-term disability/return to work but extends to other facets of diversity and inclusion. He also keenly explores immersive learning technologies and practices for educating both business students and professionals. He applies multiple theoretical frameworks and uses mixed methods practices including employing the case method to connect his research with the business community to advance student learning.
