A key principle in design is that form follows function. Time and time again, Dr. Myron Wilde has found that principle to hold true when designing or more often innovating upon molecules in the chemical space as well. He is interested in the emergent properties that come from pushing the limits of bonding and electronic stabilization. Of providing real world benefit, whether this comes from exploring existing bioactive molecules, designing drug candidates to become medicines, constructing novel materials or developing new methodologies to improve access to any of these things. | Organic synthesis, methodology development, medicinal chemistry, catalysis
